Zocalo ( Mexico City Main Square)



Is an enormous historic main square in the center of Mexico City. Around the open space area there is the National Palace of Mexico. In the other side there is the Metropolitan Cathedral. This is one of the biggest main square around the
world and one of the most visit by people around the world. 






Chapultepec Castle



Located in the top of the Chapultepec Hill, in “el Bosque de Chapultepec”(Chapultepec park). This castle has a national historic museum in it. It was used as the home of the President of Mexico until 1939. The Castle has a beautiful panoramic
view of part of the city.












Chapultepec (Bosque Chapultepec)



The Chapultepec is one of the largest park in Mexico with an ecological areas. It has the Castle at the top of the hill, the Chapultepec Zoo, the Museum of Anthropology and the Rufino Tamayo Museum. It has many monuments like the picture
at the right that is the “Altar de la Patria”( Altar of the Fatherland), Monumento a las Águilas Caídas (Fallen Eagles), Canadian Totem, Frogs Fountain, Quijote in the Clouds Monument, and more. It has a lake where you can rent like a water bike to have fun with family if you are traveling with kids.












Palace of Fine Arts (Palacio de Bellas Artes)



Is one of the most beautiful architectures in the city and is one of the host of the best events in music, theatre, operas and exhibitions. It has been called the Cathedral of Arts in Mexico, located in the historic site of the city and near Alameda Central Park.






The Angel of Independence



The most famous monument in the city located in Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, one of the most transit avenues in the city. It represent the Mexican War of Independence.






Latin American Tower



It is a skyscraper in the historic site of the city with the best panoramic view of the city. It is near the Palace of Fine Arts. The entrance cost to the panoramic view of the city is $66 Mexican pesos that equals around $3 US dollars.






(U.N.A.M.) National Autonomous University of Mexico



The National University of the country and one of the best universities in Latin America. It has an enormous campus with residence, supermarket, Faculty buildings, a very popular library, beautiful landscapes and in the front the stadium of the Pumas of U.N.A.M. of the Profesional League of Football of Mexico (Liga MX).






Soumaya Museum



Is a museum in the city with a peculiar architecture located in Nuevo Polanco. Is an art museum with many collections of European works, mexican arts and relics.






Jumex Museum



Is a Contemporary Arts Museum located at a side of the Soumaya Museum in Nuevo Polanco. The entrance cost is $30 Mexican Pesos is around $2 US Dollars.






Aztec Stadium Tour



The aztec stadium is the biggest stadium of Mexico and one of the biggest in america with more than 87,000 seat capacity. Before the updates of the stadium, the capacity was more than 100k. Is the home of the Club America, one of the two
most popular football team in the Liga MX, the professional football league of Mexico. Is the place where the most famous events in the country happens like the FIFA World Cup of the Michael Jackson concert, Julio Cesar Chavez boxing
fight vs Greg Haugen as the largest attendance in a fight with more than 136K. 

The tour of the stadium is guided that include the history of the stadium, visit to the press room, squad dressing room, player tunnel and the playground. The cost of the tour is $105 Mexican pesos, around $5 US dollars.








Day Trip



Teotihuacan



Is a ancient archeology in the state of Mexico, near Mexico City, where you going to appreciate the two pyramids, the pyramid of the moon and the pyramid of the sun, that is the largest one, with 248 stair steps and amazing view of
the avenue of the dead. To arrive to this amazing archeology you can do it by the public buses or Uber. Entrance cost are $80 Mexican pesos, around $4 US dollars.












Xochimilco



Take a day trip close to Mexico City to the city of Puebla. This beautiful city that has many history, places to visit, and are one that you can’t miss when travel to Mexico. Puebla has the historic site with the government palace, cathedral and very popular old library. The area where you can take the cable car to see all the panoramic view of the city is the newest structures and architecture of the city.






Puebla



Take a day trip close to Mexico City to the city of Puebla. This beautiful city that has many history, places to visit, and are one that you can’t miss when travel to Mexico. Puebla has the historic site with the government palace, cathedral and very popular old library. The area where you can take the cable car to see all the panoramic view of the city is the newest structures and architecture of the city. 














Restaurants and Bars



Mexico has one of my favorites foods that are the real tacos, and I’m saying with all the purpose because they are with a soft corn tortillas and the meat. They have many delicious dishes and drinks to enjoy when travel. I’m going to tell
you the restaurants and where in my experience was great.

Mexico City:

-Taqueria El Califa in La Reforma Avenue where the tacos al pastor was very delicious.

Cerveceria Chapultepec in Eje Central Lazaro Cardenas 8-9 where you everything you drink and eat are for $21 Mexican Pesos that are equal to $1 US Dollar and some cents more. The tacos are not the best ones but is a place to drink and enjoy incredible moments with your friends, partner or people you are visiting Mexico.

-Cafe Curado in Sinaloa Street 10 is a place where the specialty is the coffee and have great breakfast

– La Checlesta in Calle Genova 59 is a bar restaurant that at nights you have a place that the music is like a party but having fun eating and drinking in your table.

– Belmondo in Calle Tabasco 109, Roma Norte, is another great breakfast or brunch restaurant .

-Pulqueria Los Insurgentes in Insurgentes Sur 226 avenue is a place to drink beers, pulque, micheladas, mezcal shots and tequila, and have fun with friends and partner.

-Tacos El Huequito in Ayuntamiento 21, Colonia Centro, is another great place to eat delicious Tacos.

In the day trip to Puebla:

El Mural de los Poblanos in 16 de Septiembre 506 street, is a traditional Puebla restaurant where is famous because of it special dish Mole Poblano. This dish is in the middle of the pictures of this
section and is rice with chicken and a chocolate sauce.












Where to Stay



The best areas to stay for travelers when visit the enormous Mexico City are the followings:

– La Condesa: Is an area of a great neighborhood and a zone of many restaurants, bars and dance clubs. 

– Roma: Great neighborhood with many colorful street arts.

-Polanco: The richest neighborhood of Mexico City

-Juarez: The zone where are many corporation, many interest places and one of the most visit areas in the city, the monument of the Angel of Independence, Zona Rosa where are many restaurants, bars and nightclubs to have fun at nights
and many museums.
