In Madrid everything at night is late, starting with a dinner after 9 p.m. and then used to go to a bar with friends. After spending some hours with friends, partners or meeting others in a bar as a “Pre-Game”, at 12:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., it is time to finish the night in a disco. In this page I want to let you know the places I hangout and my opinion of its. The famous area in Central Madrid is La Latina neighborhood. It has more than 50 between bars, restaurants and dance clubs.
Bars
This bar is very popular in the center of Madrid in Cava Baja Street. This bar puts Latin music during all nights with a great atmosphere. As a pre-game may be my top recommendation.
(If you don’t like a crowded place, this one is not for you.)
Another great bar in Cava Baja Street with reggaeton music. The name of the bar means Fishbowl, they have a cocktail in a fishbowl for 2 or more people with different sizes and there name is La Pecera (Fishbowl).
Same as La Potente:(If you don’t like a crowded place, this one is not for you.)
Taberna Bayuca
This bar in the same Street, Cava Baja, different than the others it has different cocktails like caipirinha and mojitos. They also sell empanadas.
This bar is crowded, but not as much as La Potente and La Pecera.
Tirso de Molina
This one is a restaurant- bar, it has many drafted beers. This place is in La Latina Neighborhood too.
This bar is not to much crowded.
Cascorro Uno
This is a normal bar but is the most quiet bar that I went in Madrid, and if you like a place like that, this one if for you.
Sidreria El Tigre
Is a cider house bar which concept is, you ask for a drink and they give you the drink and a Tapas. This place is very popular because of it concept and the quantity of Tapas that they give you.
Dance Clubs
Shoko Madrid
A very popular dance club in Toledo Street, in the center of Madrid. If you like a place with music like Latin, electronic, hip-hop, with international and locals, this is the right place to spend a good night. My experience
is that you going to find people between 18 to 30 years old.
Bling Bling
This Nightclub is a big one with a spacious area of VIP that you can ask for Hooka’s and bottles. The dance club put many reggaeton and hip-hop music and also have girls dance in bikinis. Is a great place to enjoy with friends
and meet locals and international people.
Discoteca El Son
If you are a lover of Caribbean music like Salsa, Bachata and merengue, this is the perfect place for you. This disco also have live music. This place is locate in Victoria Street. You can be a great dancer or not and you
going to enjoy the place.
Tambor
This dance club is in Toledo Street, same as Shoko. This place put many Latin music like Reggaeton, Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. Here you may find more locals than the other Dance Club.
More Discos that I miss
One dance club that I miss but they are very populars are Teatro Kapital, it has seven floors. This one is recommended for many people. The dress code in this place are strict, you have to dress with button down shirts.
The other very popular too is Barcelo Theatre, locate in Barcelo street, this is a big dance club, a space that are use for concerts too.
