What to do in Utuado

Utuado is one of the three largest town in land area of Puerto Rico. It has a famous historic site named Caguana Indigenous Ceremonial Park, where you can enjoy and learn about the culture of Tainos. The park has plazas named “el batéy” , a rectangular, squared or circular land round of stones with petroglyphs, where the indigenous made celebrations and meetings. For coffee lover, in the same route to Caguana Ceremonial Park, in PR-111 KM 50.1, the stop has to be in Gran Batey Coffee Farm.

This town has two lakes, Dos Bocas, and Caonillas, great to go fishing. If you like to do something different and enjoy a river, Utuado has El Cañón Blanco, River Caonillas, a great spot to visit, take many pictures and spend a day.
